Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Master, Enterprise Operations, SAP in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions. Managing day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients; participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process. Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Performing role of counselor and coach. Actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities. Providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Conducting finance business process workshops utilizing Microsoft Suite in order to understand the clients current business process, and outlining future processes in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Central Component (ECC). Performing unit testing, regression testing, and defect resolution in HP Quality Center and HP IT Service Management (ITSM) for standard and custom developments. Conducting assessment of current system and business architecture utilizing SAP Solution Manager to design the SAP System landscape and integration with other tools including Vertex, Bank Interfaces. Configuring SAP Costing & Accounting based Profitability Analysis (COPA) to fulfill the managerial reporting requirement for profit margin, revenue, cost based on product line, customer, and region utilizing SAP ERP Central Component (ECC). Participating in Proof of Concept (POC) configuration for standard costing, make to order and make to stock scenarios, and material ledger in SAP ERP Central Component (ECC). Participating in the activating transfer pricing functionality for global organization to facilitate the consolidation reporting using SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), and EAP to bring about seamless integration between different functions and provide better controls. Developing functional specifications for custom development and interface with external systems via Intermediate Documents/Electronic Document Interchange (IDOCS/EDI) using document management tools to cater to unique business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • Five years of progressively responsible experience as Specialist Master, Managing Consultant, Senior Advisory Consultant or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have five years of experience with:

  • Conducting finance business process workshops utilizing Microsoft Suite in order to understand the clients current business process, and outlining future processes in SAP ERP Central Component (ECC);

  • Performing unit testing, regression testing, and defect resolution in HP Quality Center and HP ITSM for standard and custom developments;

  • Conducting assessment of current system and business architecture utilizing SAP Solution Manager to design the SAP System landscape and integration with other tools including Vertex, Bank Interfaces;

  • In lieu of a Bachelor s degree, the employer will accept two additional years of experience in the skills enumerated above.
