Workyou ll do

We are lookingfor a Senior Manager to work in our Technology, Media and Telecommunications(TMT) industry and our Strategy and Analytics Offering Portfolio. Among themany clients our TMT practice serves are advertising and marketingorganizations and functions. Deloitte helps these organizations respond to therapidly shifting markets, including bridging traditional and digitaldistribution channels and leveraging next generation capabilities.

As a SeniorManager, you will lead large complex engagements. These challengesencompass everything from:

  • Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content.

  • Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.

  • Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process.

  • Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thought-ware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals.

  • People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.

  • Helping clients increase revenues, decrease costs, accelerate cash flow, and improve margin and operational workflows.

Strategy willhelp our clients:

  • Identify strategies for growth and value creation

  • Develop the appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support their strategic vision

  • Maximize the ROI on technology investments and leverage technology and Cloud trends to architect future business strategies

Qualifications

Required:

Consulting or equivalent industryexperience: Understanding of core consulting skills withat least 10 years of experience at a top tier firm.

Experiencewith wireless or wireline carriers, communication service providers, infrastructure& equipment, cable networks, satellite.

Strategy: Demonstrated business or tech strategy experience. Operations and businessunit strategy within a telecommunications environment. Growth strategies, enterprise design andbusiness transformation.

  • Experience leading and managing large teams and change initiatives serving in a project delivery role. Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources.

  • Business development experience including successful managed revenue and sales targets.Must be able to build relationships with C-level executives and lead pursuit teams.

  • Willingness and ability to travel 80%

  • Must live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte s consulting offices

Preferred:

  • Professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Superior critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills

  • Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings
