Client Service Administrator

The role Reporting to the Client Services Team Leader, this role is at the very core of Mercer Services within the Health arm of our business primarily providing administrative and analytical support for Protections including life assurance and income of our corporate clients.
We’re excited to promote this role and provide the opportunity for someone to be exposed to work with some well-known high profile brands. Although this roles primary focus will be on Client Support, we want to ensure this role is unique and different to other roles. Therefore, there will be an analytical element which will include an analysis and preparation of market reviews for your portfolio of clients.
The main responsibilities of this role will include the following:
Provide quality administration support to clients with regard to the transactional elements of their scheme/ portfolio in line with the Mercer code of professional conduct Assistance in the retention and development of existing clients through strong communication Obtain information from insurers/ providers to enable scheme/ portfolio analysis to be carried out Assist with renewal and market review work for portfolio in line with clients requirements, collation and analysis of results in appropriate format and production of report Liaise with insurers/ providers to ensure delivery of data, renewal terms and quotations in appropriate timescales Initial negotiation (if appropriate) with insurers/ providers to achieve best terms for client Dealing with client and member queries (verbal and written) Attend client meetings as initiated by consultants Accurate completion of the Client Relationship Management database Accurate recording of time on appropriate financial system Identify and flag opportunities for client development Escalate issues/feedback as it arises Our Client Services team are best described for their inclusive culture and friendly atmosphere. Skills and experience
High level of literacy and numerical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Customer service/Client facing experience (phone and face-to-face) Employee benefits/group risk/health/private medical insurance industry experience (preferred, but not essential) Ability to establish a good rapport with team and with clients Ability to prioritise own workloads Does this sound like a role you’re interested in?
