We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Insurance Healthcare Insurance Adviser to join our team in Chipping Sodbury.

We require the successful candidate to manage an existing client portfolio which includes managing renewals and securing new clients to generate profitable income for the Group


  • To act as the primary point of contact for the client and establish effective relationships with them

  • To renew your portfolio of clients in line with agreed targets

  • To grow the income of your portfolio of clients in line with agreed targets and initiatives

  • To achieve new business levels in line with agreed targets

  • To identify and develop new business opportunities

  • To provide accurate reports incorporating activity and results

  • To update and maintain records on core systems

  • To work closely with relevant support teams to provide excellent service to clients


Experience and skills required

  • Demonstrable experience as an Account Handler/Broker/Advisor within insurance including cross selling/upselling of products (healthcare knowledge is advantageous but not essential)

  • Comfortable working under pressure whilst keeping a sharp eye on technical insurance details

  • Ability to work at speed within a busy work environment

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written

  • Confident and effective telephone skills

  • Ability to priorities and organise own workload
