This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious QA engineer or developer to join our newly formed performance engineering team, ensuring our suite of SaaS fleet management applications meets non-functional requirements. You'll write and run end to end performance tests to ensure our software is stable, reliable and resilient.
Develop backend Performance testing suites using C# API calls.
Develop GUI performance tests using Load Runner / Storm Runner.
Review Performance test results, discover bottlenecks and suggest root causes.
Execute, investigate and report on the success of automated performance tests.
Conduct thorough investigations of test failures and troubleshoot the issues.
Conduct research and Proof of Concepts on emerging technologies.
Work with stakeholders in ensuring performance of all new components is fully optimised based on feedback from tests.
Work as part of a cross functional agile development team.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in the development of test automation frameworks and automated tests, preferably using C#.
Knowledge of REST, SOAP protocols.
Knowledge of Object Orientated Design practices.
Experience with backend solution technologies, knowledge of communication protocols (TCP, HTTP, SOAP, etc.)
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Even better if you have:
Experience with performance testing.
Ability to be results oriented.
Ability to focus on successful delivery.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical subjects.
Strong sense of ownership.
Enthusiasm for technology.
