As a Senior Strategy Lead you will be responsible for translating a customer’s business goals and requirements into a coherent strategy and deliver results and insight against this strategy back to customers on a regular basis. You will help customers to achieve their stated goals including but not limited to; increasing overall revenue, customer lifetime value and conversion rates, increasing loyalty programme registrations and providing guidance on their personalisation strategy. You will leverage a range of analysis, testing and optimisation techniques across a range of deliverables, including assessments and workshops to help achieve your customer’s business goals.
As a Senior Strategy Lead within the Oracle Marketing Cloud and CX Cloud you will be expected to define solutions which incorporate the opportunities presented by the wider Marketing and CX suite. This will include creating clear use cases, defining multi-product value and product opportunities between multiple products. You will be required to develop a strong appreciation of the technical operation of the tools in order to ground your strategy in what is achievable and deliverable.
You will be a natural leader within the Oracle Marketing Cloud Consulting team, focusing on improving business performance through best practise client relationships and driving outstanding performance from the key stakeholders you work with on those accounts. You will be expected to be a clear voice for marketing in your region by producing thought leadership, creating customer stories and be comfortable speaking at events and leading them. You will be required to engage with and scope engagements with prospects to develop and elevate business opportunities in region as part of the sales process.
The Senior Strategy Lead has responsibility for 10 to 20 client accounts leveraging any opportunities along the contract life to increase contract value.
Understand a client’s online business model, creating a set of objectives for marketing delivery to ultimately help the client increase revenues and performance.
Develop multiple Oracle Marketing Cloud product solutions for clients with multiple products, including Responsys, Eloqua, Bluekai and Maxymiser, leading to clear use cases for integrating multiple products, highlighting product development opportunities and marketing case studies.
Mentor junior roles within the Strategy and Analytics team, highlighting learning opportunities to develop best practise and upskill key roles internally.
Assist and support the Customer Success Manager and Consulting Sales Representative with commercial and contractual account management on your aligned clients.
Work with the pre-sales teams to develop prospect opportunities, introduce the benefits of services to clients and present best practise use cases where applicable.
Develop the market presence of Oracle Marketing Cloud through thought leadership, case studies and presentation opportunities where applicable to increase pre-sales opportunities, grow your own marketing presence and enhance existing client relationships.
A degree (BA/BSc) or equivalent
Previous experience to include: website optimisation, web analytics, data analysis, customer usability, CRM, personalisation, marketing orchestration, data management platforms or data driven online marketing.
10 years’ of previous relational experience.
Proven experience in a problem solving and/or analytical role, ideally from within digital and/or vendor side.
Experience managing multiple external clients, the Consultant will take ownership of 10-20 client accounts with around 50 projects running simultaneously at any one time.
Experience of commercial negotiations with proven success at renewing client contracts and increasing contract value is desirable.
Proven business leadership experience in owning business change projects, showing clear success and learnings that helped shape future business direction.
A natural, consultative style is essential to build client relationships and gain trust and confidence.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Fluency in English, other language skills are highly desirable especially French, German or Spanish

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
