Hilton Director of Food & Beverage - Hilton Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio
Hilton Cleveland Downtown is currently looking to hire their next Director of Food & Beverage.
Located in the heart of Cleveland’s vibrant downtown area and connected to the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, this property features 600 guest rooms, four F&B outlets (Bar 32, Eliot’s Bar, Noshery and The Burnham Restaurant) and 55,000 square feet of meeting space. We are looking for an experienced, senior food and beverage leader who has at least two to four years high volume experience overseeing multiple food and beverage outlets.
The ideal candidate for this role with a minimum of 6-10 years in the food & beverage industry with the majority of that in a hotel environment. They should have 3-5 years as either a Director or Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at a large convention/conference hotel. They must have a proven track record of F&B success and be a strong teacher/trainer and leader.
What will I be doing?
The Director of Food & Beverage directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
