Job Brief :
The Predictive Modeling & Advanced Analytics Team is responsible for financial model development and implementation for commercial credit portfolios and economic capital. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating with partners across the enterprise, including Line of Business Executives and Model Risk Management. This position is also responsible for monitoring Key s commercial risk rating models and economic capital models. This is a highly visible position presents a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to grow into the roles to serve as a senior level resource and resident expert on business practices, credit underwriting guidelines, and credit policies.
Essential Job Functions:
Serve as point of contact for commercial financial models, frameworks, and economic capital.
Working closely with the model development team, facilitate collaboration with line of business and credit executives.
Communicate the team s efforts based on the needs of Risk Management partners and regulators.
Providing support in model design and implementation, including improving data quality and testing.
Efficiently and effectively assessing and deciding on process risks and identifying potential control weaknesses.
Extract data and generate reports for special requests and projects.
Research and analyze data and model calculation issues.
Server as financial model and framework owners.
Prior commercial credit underwriting, credit monitoring, or asset recovery experience with preference of 3-5 years.
Familiar with financial ratios frequently used in the credit write-ups
Creates moderately complex documents.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with key stakeholders. Ability to translate financial modeling terminology into terms understandable to diverse groups.
Proven team player and an ability to work within a highly collaborative environment.
Bachelor s or master s degree in Finance, Economic, Computer Science or other related discipline with preference of master s degree.
Firm understanding of commercial credit underwriting/approval methodologies, including specialized industries, acquisition financing, leveraged finance, and bank participations.
Satisfactory understanding and knowledge of commercial credit policies, procedures, and loan systems (e.g. Moody s Risk Analyst).
Experience with commercial lending products.
Advanced skills in Excel with knowledge of spreadsheet functionality and VBA.
Familiar with Tableau or other business intelligence tool for visualizing data is a strong plus.
Proficient in SQL and SAS programing a strong plus.
Previous experience working in a financial analytics team.
