Senior Product Manager- ERP (French and Spanish speaker)

EMEA is the fastest growing region for Oracle NetSuite, and Southern Europe (Iberia France/Italy is one of the drivers for this growth. As a Regional Product Manager for Oracle NetSuite, you will be responsible for representing Oracle NetSuite in front of prospects, customers and business analysts. Reporting into the Director of International Product - EMEA, you will also act as the customer representative in interactions with the product team, defining the solution scope and collaborating with various development teams across the globe on the delivery of product enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of local statutory and legal requirements

  • Maintain understanding of culturally expected ERP functionality and workflows

  • Define product strategy and roadmap for the Southern Europe/Iberia Edition of NetSuite

  • Investigate and recommend required Country-specific changes to core application features, e.g. Tax Engine, Reporting, Multi-Currency

  • Work with development, QA, documentation and other product managers through the product development life cycle

  • Collect, analyze, maintain and distribute information about competing products for the local market

  • Provide product information to meet a variety of internal and external needs including sales collateral, press releases, web site copy and internal training

  • Identify and work with local partners to deliver country-specific integrated product offerings leveraging the SuiteCloud platform and related technologies

  • Local spokesperson for Product Launches and PR activity

  • Present at Prospecting Events

  • Review and Localize Press Releases, Launch Presentations

  • Contribute to Country PR Pipeline and Localized Messaging

  • Contribute to NetSuite Newsletter and other company communications

  • Advise/Consult on complex/strategic prospect opportunities

  • Act as an escalation point for urgent customer issues

  • Act as the link between HQ, development offices and our local sales offices

  • Attend Key Prospect Meetings

  • Marquee customer relationship building

  • Customer Council Meetings

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, System Information, Computer Science or related courses

  • Fluency in Spanish, French and English.

  • A proven understanding of accounting and local accounting standards, business practices, processes and statutory requirements

  • A proven understanding of product development lifecycle and processes

  • Excellent communication and cross functional teamwork skills

  • Superior analytical, writing, verbal and time management skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a very fast paced environment

  • Ability to analyze problems and create solutions

  • Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently

  • Strong customer and business focus

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A track record of successfully working with development, QA, and technical writing to deliver quality products is a plus.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
