Performs assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks
Design and model water and wastewater project elements
Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections within AutoCAD software
Analyze multi-discipline designs to determine design clash detection
Prepare contract documents suitable for bidding
Supervisor screens assignments and provides guidance in techniques and procedures to be applied; receives supervision on all aspects of assignments
Work on small projects or portions of larger projects as a team with other disciplines
Prepare construction cost estimates
This position requires the flexibility to serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of AECOM
Functional knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Ability to manage tasks or small segments of entire project
Excellent organizational skills and be able to work well in a team environment
Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Run models, calculations and designs software
Work on small segments of broad tasks
Apply engineering principles to develop effective solutions
Perform standard computations and/or analysis
Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes
Have functional knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and scheduling within the Microsoft Office software
3D CAD software skills to include Civil 3D
Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work well in a team environment
Engineering Bachelor Degree (ABET Accredited) required
Registered engineer in training preferred
Other preferred drafting experience may include AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD MEP, or Revit
Analyze multi-discipline designs in Navisworks to determine design clash detection
Modeling experience in StormCAD, WaterCAD, and or Storm and Sanitary Sewer Analysis programs with the ability to prepare project Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
Master’s degree in related field
