  • Manages a group of intermediate level IT employees

  • Participate as a key member of an IT Management Team.

  • Responsible for financial management including AOP, budget management, and forecasting.

  • Responsible for People Management including work plan development, performance management, and people development.

  • Responsible for team building and development including organization structure, recruiting, global team management.

  • Compile and present Management Reports on team performance including metrics, deliverable status, etc.

  • Communicate status to senior management.

  • Accountable for Six Sigma training, usage and goal attainment for the team.

  • Ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures including IT Security.

  • Responsible of IT Controls compliance for the team

  • Engagement with customers in their respective function or business area.

  • Governance/Leadership for all program/projects executed or supported by their teams.

This pivotal role in the web center will be responsible for:

Working with internal customers to deliver mission critical applications and content sites, with the help of multiple global teams.

Working with internal teams to define architectures and complete tech stacks across various platforms - Java, JS, Drupal and mobile platforms.

Leveraging cloud infrastructures to deliver 12-Factor Cloud-native applications that are on CI/CD pipelines.

Defining web and mobile development standards around security, performance, user experience.

Managing a distributed development/delivery team consisting Technical Application Managers, Delivery Managers, Technical Specialists and Programmers.

Evaluating multi-vendor proposals for various projects from various aspects (solution, cost, delivery).

Participating as a key member of an IT Management Team (forecasts, planning, budget management and people development).

Team building, coaching and mentoring, including organization structure, recruiting, global team management, workplan development and performance management.

Compiling and presenting management reports on team performance including metrics, deliverable status to senior management.

Accountable for Six Sigma training, usage and goal attainment for the team.

Overseeing the analysis of potential technology solutions to moderately complex technology issues; ensures successful implementation.

Leveraging Analytics and Analytics tools to make portfolio decisions.


  • 8-12 years of web technology experience, including in a supervisory role. Broad business knowledge required.

  • Responsible for the delivery of multiple, complex projects for mission critical, high performant web and mobile applications.

  • Ensure your team delivers projects that meet cost, quality, security and schedule targets.

  • Well aware of cloud tools and technologies and CI / CD pipelines under the larger DEVOPS umbrella topic

  • Fully aware and conversant with emerging and established web and mobile technologies including HTML5, CSS, Java, JavaScript, .Net, Drupal for responsive web applications, content sites and native mobile applications.

  • Conversant with security best practices and considerations for web and mobile applications and sites.

  • Aware of the process of publishing mobile applications on various app stores

  • Cognizant of various development methodologies for the full SDLC (Waterfall, Agile including Scrum and Kanban, Test Driven Development)

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience plus annualized bonus potential.
