Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished technologist who is also a skilled information security professional to join a high caliber team. The Program Automation Team provides diverse solutions for Enterprise Information Security Risk Management. These solutions include web applications, system integrations, database solutions, application hosting, web services, console applications, data warehousing, and reporting. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded technical background and experience in application development, business process automation, and multi-domain information security principles.

This role includes leading the development and implementation of highly complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse platforms. A qualified candidate will be competent in advanced knowledge of web technologies, windows application development, mobile development, multimedia applications, database modeling tools and/or database interactions, and enterprise reporting solutions. The position will include the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluates systems specifications for application requirements and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution.

  • Researches and tracks new web technologies, develop service applications, and analyze business requirements as they pertain to applications.

  • Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards.

  • Develops specifications for complex information security risk assessment applications, methodologies, and tools.

  • Captures and provides information security risk information to internal lines of business.

  • Implements and supports enterprise-scale reporting solutions of information security risk assessment data.

  • Coordinates and develops complex interfaces to and from external systems to enhance the information security risk assessment toolset along with sharing pertinent data to other aggregate systems.

  • Provides technical support to users of information security risk assessment tools and solutions.

  • Interfaces with developers, line of business personnel, security consultants, and managers to identify, define, document, and implement risk assessment solutions into the automated tool suite.

  • Ability to deliver concise, time critical information to all levels of management, technology and business teams

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of application development and implementation experience

  • 3+ years of MS SQL experience

  • 1+ year of information security experience

  • 3+ years of .net experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours

  • Ability to work on call as assigned
