Averitt Express Disposition Specialist Cookeville TN in Cookeville, Tennessee
Averitt is currently seeking a Disposition Specialist to help support our internal and external customers.
This position is responsible for:
-Provide disposition on all distressed shipments that have been refused (due to damage, shortage, PO cancelled, wrong product, etc.)
Disposition actually refers to obtaining the direction which the paying party would have the carrier proceed in regards to shipments that have been deemed undeliverable for any reason.
Mitigate damage to protect liability for claims purposes
Request pictures and scan to imaging
Provide feedback to Prevention/ Claims when necessary
Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers
Good communication skills
Able to multi-task
Customer service training preferred
This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm.
