AECOM is seeking a highly talented and experienced Project Manager who has significant experience with construction of large multi-site healthcare facilities. This position will work with our multi-site healthcare client constructing healthcare facilities such as hospitals, ambulatory facilities and other support buildings.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs project overview by reviewing the activities and status of the design/construction teams throughout design/construction phase activities, coordinates project activities and provides oversight to maintain operations of existing facilities
Oversees Contractor meetings and coordinates with client
Performs constructability reviews, pricing and cost impacts due to phasing and timing
Analyzes and recommends alternative project delivery strategies for different components of the program that might offer cost, schedule, quality and coordination benefits
Supports in the coordination of procurement/delivery packages
Manages Construction Schedule
Additionally employee may provide support to the development of design standards, development of design criteria for scope packages, management of the design schedule
Additional tasks may include miscellaneous PM tasks such as provide advice relative to the site considerations including existing topography, parking requirements, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture and/or engineering
10+ years of experience with project management of Health care projects
Project management, construction management, project controls (cost and schedule), AHCA experience, knowledge of e-Builder or similar platform
Candidate must have experience with Airport Constructions project of “Quick Turnaround Rental Car Facilities(CONRAC)
This position requires successful completion of the AECOM Project Management Certification program within 6 months of hire. This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the AECOM Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee
Professional registration (PE, RA, PMP, CCM, PSP preferred but not required
Florida healthcare experience is preferred although not required
Knowledge of Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) process and standards
Registered Architect/Engineer preferred but not required
