Hilton Parking Cashier (Part-Time) in Coronado, California

A Parking Cashier is responsible for receiving and consolidating all cash and checks to prepare for the daily bank deposit in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Parking Cashier, you would be responsible for receiving and consolidating all cash and checks to prepare for the daily bank deposit in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Check daily activities board, occupancy and any departmental memos
  • Greet guests with a smile and make eye contact, be polite and professional
  • Maintain an atmosphere of pleasant hospitality including clear communication with guests, staff and management.
  • Answer telephones in a timely manner, following proper telephone etiquette and readily answering any questions courteously.
  • Ensure proper flow and accuracy of all paperwork and tickets
  • Accurately collect, drop, and post revenue including charges to Master accounts, Guest folios, and credit cards
  • Have a complete understanding of all parking charges, validations, and procedures and be able to pass them on to guests and fellow associates
  • Be knowledgeable about the Hotel shops, restaurants, history, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards
  • Maintain proper care of all equipment and cleanliness in all parking areas
  • Ensure necessary inventory of tickets and supplies are in stock
  • Complete reports assigned by the Parking Management such as Valet Key Inventory, Relief Late return schedule, Manual Transactions, etc.
  • Inform Management of any problems that may arise with the parking system or any other issues
