Collaborates with other health care disciplines in order to provide quality direct and indirect care under the supervision and direction of a Sports Medicine Provider. Assists in facilitating and implementing all aspects of health care, including but not limited to prevention, practice/event coverage, injury evaluation, medical appointments, treatment, rehabilitation and team travel.
Our primary care sports medicine physicians specialize in preventing, diagnosing and treating injuries related to participation in sports and/or exercise, specifically the rotation or deformation of joints or muscles caused by engaging physical activities. We also offer a Concussion Care Program to provide diagnosis, treatment and safe return to play for athletes following concussions. The program provides expert, individualized care for athletes of all sports and ages.
NATA certification required.
Two (2) years experience as an ATC required.
Healthcare Provider BLS required.
