JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Prepares at the doctorate level for a career in Sports Medicine. Responsible for providing safe and effective physical therapy services by implementing evaluation and treatment procedures designed to meet the identified needs of the patient. Communicates and works effectively with clients to achieve therapeutic goals. FLAT RATE $23.97/hr # DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Our primary care sports medicine physicians specialize in preventing, diagnosing and treating injuries related to participation in sports and/or exercise, specifically the rotation or deformation of joints or muscles caused by engaging physical activities. We also offer a Concussion Care Program to provide diagnosis, treatment and safe return to play for athletes following concussions. The program provides expert, individualized care for athletes of all sports and ages. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license required upon hire. Successful completion of a DPT program required upon hire. Current ATC designation, EMT, or Emergency Medical Responder certification via an American Physical Therapy Association course required upon hire. Healthcare Provider BLS required.
