Contributes to the analysis, design and implementation of effective data architecture and strategy. Applies healthcare expertise, technical and analytic skills to document data and business analytics requirements. Responsible for the extraction, analysis and interpretation of data. Adheres to data governance processes and assumes responsibility for data standards design.
Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology services at Samaritan Health Services. The service design organization is responsible for converting business objectives into IT services. Service design coordinates and develops software capabilities across patient care and corporate business units.
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in an Information Technology related field) or equivalent experience required.
Three (3) years experience in programming reports, dashboards or other business intelligence tools required.
Experience with T-SQL development, query optimization, ETL tools, and relational or dimensional data modeling techniques required.
Experience or training in data mining, data quality and data security preferred.
Experience or training in Microsoft technology stack (including SQL Server T-SQL, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, SharePoint and Excel) preferred.
Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
