Participates within a team environment with responsibility for development, maintenance and delivery of application systems. Provides business, analytical, and design skills within assigned platform. Ensures correct business functionality and IT standards are addressed within the computer applications. Collaborates with business partners and peers to gather, translate and transform business requirements into effective technology solutions. Responsible for leading projects and mentoring peer analysts.
* * This position works in partnership with Inpatient/Outpatient Leadership, Research, Quality, and Clinical Engineering in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, vendor selection and implementation of advanced clinical systems.
- DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology services at Samaritan Health Services. The service design organization is responsible for converting business objectives into IT services. Service design coordinates and develops software capabilities across patient care and corporate business units.
Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent work experience required.
Three (3) years experience in Information Technology required.
Industry recognized, current and relevant certification preferred.
Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
