  • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

  • Leads and manages technical and operational resources within the HPO Medical Management department. Responsible for overseeing projects and providing direction and technical consultation to other project teams as they work to facilitate automation and create efficiencies. Creates strategies in consultation with the Medical Management leadership team, forming and maintaining a technical roadmap for the department. Ensures that systems and processes are meeting contractual and regulatory compliance requirements as they are updated, enhanced and created. Ensures that correct operational functionality is addressed with system upgrades, enhancements and fixes. Advocates for the department in efforts to implement new technology solutions.

  • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in area of competence or equivalent experience required.

  • Five (5) years general Information Systems experience required.

  • Five (5) years experience in a leadership role with emphasis on information systems, project management and the use of technology to automate and create efficiencies in a complex environment required.

  • Three (3) years health plan or healthcare experience preferred.
