The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
GSRMC IV Therapy provides care 24/7 by Registered Nurses with specialty training and/or certification in Infusion Therapy. IV RN’s are specialists in core areas of infusion therapy practice: technology and clinical applications, fluid and electrolyte balance, pharmacology, infection prevention and control, special populations, transfusion therapy, antineoplastic/biologic therapy, and parenteral nutrition. Care is provided to both inpatients and outpatients of all ages within the hospital.
Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
GSR IV Therapy:
One (1) year medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
Previous experience in IV therapy preferred.
Certification in IV therapy (C.R.N.I.) preferred.
