The Business Development Representative in Arrow will be working closely with the internal Sales teams for the assigned Arrow's vendor specialised in the Network Security.

You will be responsible for the assessment of existing and potential customers, defining product needs, and sales execution. The role will involve continuous relationship development between the business area, Inside Sales and Presales teams and the manufacturers to ensure a trust and support of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties will include but are not restricted to:

Working with Internal Sales and Presales Engineers, to identify the key reseller partners with good potential to develop sales of the vendor’s products and services.

Working with these partners to ensure they have all the tools necessary to realise their sales potential, namely:

  • Execute successful business plans with channel partners

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the vendor

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the channel customer base

  • Identify new partners and engage and enable accordingly to drive incremental sales

  • Initiating marketing campaigns for the partners to find new leads

  • Regular and accurate forecasting of opportunities, providing detail for both short and long term deals

  • Enable partners by providing regular sales training

  • Participe in the preparation of the quotations (if needed)


  • 2-5 years of professional experience, preferably within an IT sales environment including the ability to sell complex solutions (Network Security, Data Centre)

  • Budget responsibility for all assigned business development areas

  • Development of both - New as well as Existing Customers

  • Self-motivated with a hardworking and proactive approach

  • Works independently but also a team player

  • Leads functional teams or projects and serves as a best practice/quality resource

  • Native French language and very good English


  • Contributes to process improvements

  • Ability to build strong relationships
