North Cypress Medical Center is currently looking for aDepartment Secretary for Case Management. _ _ _Position Summary: _This position will offer support to the Director of Case Management and the entire Case Management Department. Provides support in office services, organization of the department, organization of the monthly calendar/scheduling events, Communication with insurance providers, Management of post hospital vendors/appointments, Distribution of mail/insurance communication

_Responsibilities_ * Customer Service skills

• greets internal and external customers with a smile • considers the thoughts, feelings and privacy of others. • Conveys a friendly, helpful affect when communicating by telephone and in person. * Assume receptionist duties – answers phone, routes calls, takes messages. * Distribute incoming mail – and prepares outgoing mail as necessary * Assists with completion of necessary statistical reports as requested * Detail oriented – makes sure that all projects are completed properly. * Maintains electronic employee files. * Type documents as needed. * Order office supplies and monitor inventory. * Takes minutes for various meetings conducted in the department. * Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and hospital staff members. * Assists in special projects as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Demonstrates professional practice and conduct at all times.

• Takes responsibility to regularly update self on knowledge of the department and hospital communication and changes, • Reports to work on time and absences are not to exceed hospital standards. • Conducts job duties in accordance with established department and North Cypress Medical Center policies, procedures and standards. • Conducts job duties in accordance with federal and state regulations; ie, CMS, Joint Commission, TDSHS. • Serves as a resource to co-workers. • Complies with legal and professions regulations (ex; HIPAA)
