Position Title Contract Administrator 1

Performs contract administration functions during the pre-award, award, and post-award phases of the procurement process. This includes correspondence, negotiations, contract close-out, file maintenance, and interaction with multiple technical contract managers and external customers. Research, analyze, coordinate, develop and maintain documentation.
1) Ensure transactions and documentation comply with Company policies and procedures, contract requirements, and Government regulations.
2) Ensure contract requirements are met including; monitoring cost status, assisting in cost management; and coordinating issue resolution with customers.
3) Maintain detailed and organized files.
4) Prepare contract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements and budgets.
5) Helps senior contract administrators prepare cost proposals in compliance with solicitations and company procedures to include: preparing the formal submission and supporting documentation, monitoring proposal process, providing audit assistance and interaction, and assisting in contract set-up upon award.
6) Monitor Small Business activities for the division including coordinating with technical staff and maintaining records.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred and at least 1 year of related experience or equivalent. Good oral and written communication skills, familiarity with word-processing, database and spreadsheet programs are required. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
