AECOM is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineering at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks to interface with the E3 team and the technical Program Manager for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support and achievement of customer goals. The selected candidate will interact with and advises customers by applying specific program knowledge and/or subject matter expertise in the execution of routine and non-routine tasks. The selected candidate will interact and provide technical assessment to customers, through the application of specific program knowledge and subject matter expertise, in the execution of program management tasks. Some of the daily roles include analyzing requirements, interface with other professionals to generate program documentation, and creation of plans, schedules, briefings, reports, correspondence, contracts/contract modifications, technical instructions/procedures and/or related material. The selected candidate will analyze and track projects, schedules, and deliverables as well as conduct research into specific areas. The selected candidate will prepare findings and report findings to the customer. The creation and maintenance of master files/schedules related to program history, execution, and status for the life of the program (inception to disposal) is required. The candidate must review, analyze, provide comments, and provide assessments of technical and non-technical program reports and research specific areas and prepare findings on the research found. The selected candidate will have direct customer daily interface and communication while working on site.
Candidate must be a US citizen to be considered.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is required.
Eight (8) years of experience in the field of logistics and materials sustainment performing acquisition logistics tasks including life cycle supportability analysis as well as developing inputs and reviewing Integrated Logistics Support Plans, solicitation documentation, participating in Independent Logistics Assessments, and establishing maintenance and support concepts.
Three (3) years of experience in supporting the Program Manager and System Managers with the development and review of logistics procurement and management processes of life cycle logistics areas such as support equipment, test equipment, technical orders/data, spares, training, supply support, manpower and personnel, facilities, packaging, storage, transportation, reliability, maintainability, availability, provisioning, shelf life, design interface, and computer resources.
Must have experience with EMALLS, OM&S Custodian, and Inventory.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Active clearance is preferred, but not required.
