Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter to join its team providing full life-cycle recruiting support. This is a dynamic, fast-paced business unit supporting multiple government contracts. The selected candidate will support programs located throughout Dahlgren, VA and other locations as required. Candidates should be local to area to support meetings and hiring events as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Use creativity and market knowledge to work with hiring managers to determine a recruitment strategy for their individual hiring needs
Successfully manage a high number of requisitions on a weekly basis and fill positions with quality candidates in a timely manner
Creatively identify qualified candidates through a variety of recruiting sources including, but not limited to the internal Applicant Tracking System, internet sources, professional associations, and internal and external job fairs
Prequalify and submit a diverse slate of candidates to hiring managers for further consideration/selection for interview process
Prepare job postings and extend offer letters in conjunction with HR representatives
Maintain applicant flow data for AAP
Identify diversity outreach agencies
Manage candidate activity through the applicant tracking system and/or resume database
Maintain metrics related to the recruitment function
Develop or research new innovative recruiting approaches
Generally assist in all aspects of recruiting however needed
Leverage strong communication/collaboration skills to build strong cross-functional partnerships to support the business demands effectively
The position will require overtime including occasional weekend hours and periodic travel
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and at least 3 years of job-related experience. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college.
Recent technical recruiting experience in a challenging, government contracting environment
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization to successfully manage customer relationships
Experience working with automated applicant tracking systems required, Kenexa Brass Ring experience preferred
OFCCP knowledge
Advanced internet recruiting skills and experience
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Strong business acumen, follow-through and attention to detail
Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Kenexa Brass Ring experience is preferred
