We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Accountant located in Dallas, Texas.

Essential Job Duties:

This is a position which initially focuses on a limited, yet challenging area, in order to give the accountant a strong foundation for increased responsibilities in the future. As time progresses, the accountant will be introduced to additional areas and tasks within the department and company, including…

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of information, analyze product cost data, monitor/reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure integrity and accuracy of month end accounting close process.

  • Supporting plant controllers and performing multiple functions of cost accounting

  • Support business and manufacturing locations with analysis.

  • Provide support for external audits and internal audits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (with a minimum of 18 hours of Accounting)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Must demonstrate initiative and interact effectively with others in a team environment

  • Fluctuations in workloads may require some overtime

  • Excel spreadsheet proficiency

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience preferred
