CBRE Business Systems Analyst in Dallas, Texas

JOB SUMMARY

The Capital Markets Business Analyst will provide business support, requirements tracking and business process solutioning for various technology solutions within Capital Markets. Competent to work in moderately complex information systems and considers the business implications of the technology applications to the current business environment. As a member of the national Capital Markets leadership team, this individual will play a critical role in rolling out and supporting tools used by brokers and leadership in pursuing new business and servicing clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following:

Provides end user support for various technology tools such as Salesforce and a CBRE property marketing platform while learning about the Capital Markets business.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.

Assists in an application implementation, including testing end user processes using defined guidelines.

Day to day administration of the application to include new user set up, account verification, and approvals.

Collects data and builds moderately complex Salesforce and Conga reports in response to inquiries as directed by the business and leadership.

Responsible for communicating updates, announcements and training to users through various methods.

Interacts with clients, both internal and external, to understand how business needs will integrate with vendor capabilities.

Reviews the accuracy of information provided and conducts research to support data integrity as necessary.

Document requirements that will support system enhancements.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborates with co-workers within a work unit and/or project on work to be completed but is not responsible for formal supervision of employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Minimum BA/BS from a 4-year accredited institution and a minimum of 1-3 years of significant experience in technology implementations.

Salesforce, Conga Composer and Demand Tools experience recommended. Corporate training experience a plus. Real estate experience a plus.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Salesforce Certification recommended.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles in a pre-designed style and format. Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management. Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Team Player, ability to cross-collaborate with various teams across the platform.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to interpret multiple sources of data to create threads of opportunity or value creation.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Proficient in web-based technology. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
