Job Introduction:

Job Description:

Develop and maintain Linux network drivers, including support for SR-IOV, virtio, DPDK

Collaborate with the Open Source Community and IBM partners, participating in design discussions and reviews

Diagnose and fix functional and performance problems in kernel components

Develop, automate and run unit tests for the code developed


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Tech Skills:

Open source software development

Proficiency in C/C+Knowledge of network protocols

Demonstrated knowledge of the Linux operating system

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Preferred Technical Expertise

Experience with network protocols, security, or software defined networking

Working knowledge of networking components such as routers, switches, load balancers, virtualized servers, VPN gateways, firewalls, etc.

Experience working with Github

Experience with python and shell scripting

Experience with Linux network drivers and network stack
