CACI International Network Specialist in Dallas, Texas
CACI has a need to add a Network Specialist in the Dallas, Texas area. This position requires some travel within the United States (CONUS) and overseas (OCONUS) for various projects. If you are looking for a position that will challenge you network skills, CACI would like to speak with you:
What you’ll get to do:
Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN
Recommend and schedule repair to Network Systems
Provide end user support for all LAN-based and stand-alone applications
Install and configure workstations
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field
Maintain LAN documentation, support logs and other documentation (Active Directory)
Ensure network, computer and security resources achieve high user availability
Provide various LAN, hardware/software support, system installations, data backup, maintenance and problem solving as well as training and assisting in special projects as needed
More About the Role:
The position reports to an IS Manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. You will be flexible, able and willing to work odd hours if applicable, ensure implementation and maintain security measures as well as and adhere to ISSM, identify and document any threats to information systems, and support servers in a test environment.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
AA/AS in Information Technology, Computer Info Systems or substitute 2 years of experience with Windows Server2008/2008 R2/Windows Server 2012
CompTIA A+ and Security+ Certifications (within 6 months of hire)
Network + certification
Knowledge of Windows XP, Vista, 7, 10
Knowledge of Microsoft productivity software (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Access, etc.)
Knowledge of backup software
Knowledge and experience with active directory services
Must have in-depth knowledge of hardware, software and technology trends
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Symantec Backup Exec
Identify and resolve various technical problems
Inventory and document equipment and software
Provide a wide range of customer support in professional manners
Professional and courteous customer service with customers and visitors
Active Directory knowledge and experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor's Degree in related IT field
A+, Security +, MCSA, MCSE
Knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD) security posture.
VMWare/Citrix knowledge, understanding and experience
