As an Application Developer in this role, one is responsible for a full-picture understanding of the pieces delivered into the application testing servers responsible for analyzation of System documentation to develop code that meets the requirements of the system design. The Application Developer must also perform Unit testing and test script creation. While this position mainly require Java.Spring knowledge, other development knowledge and soft knowledge will be used and need to be at utilized at a high level to ensure system optimization. The Application Developer will also peer review solutions proposed by junior and senior resources, and assess the feasibility of functional solutions proposed by the Business Analyst team.
- This position is located in Tallahassee, FL and requires an on site resource 8:30AM-5:30PM, Monday-Friday, Available on weekends for on call support and some weeknights for deployments as scheduled in advance .*

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
4+ years of Java Development Experience
Knowledge of development principals and current development software
Excellent communication skills; able to give and receive feedback based on perceived performance and help drive improvements based on feedback
Must be Able to work Monday through Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM in Tallahassee, FL for 24x7 On call support rotation and weekday night deployments as scheduled in advance
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
4+ years of Autosys, SAP BOE, DB2, Weblogic and IBM Rational product suite exposure preferred
Firm understanding of technical jargon
Peerless customer service experience and an ability to handle disgruntled parties.
3+ Years of experience developing, executing, reporting on Unit test plans
3+ Years of experience developing technical designs for application development
Exposure to Agile principles of development
