What’s the role?

Your aim as Coating Inspector Fabric Maintenance is to ensure Fabric Maintenance (FM) is completed to a high quality, within budget, and safely – from painting and insulation, to passive fireproofing and associated access provisions.

Working in a team across UK and the Netherlands and with wide-ranging responsibilities, you’ll scope and complete projects through the maintenance process, providing essential feedback on FM procedures and work processes. Identifying and implementing improvements, whilst you also contribute to the long-term FM strategy.

More specific duties will include:

  • Managing and maintaining high standards of HSE, quality control and assurance across all FM activities.

  • Seeking to maximize execution productivity by challenging the coating/insulation contractor on execution approach.

  • Monitoring competency of Coating Applicator personnel and confirming their proficiency and abilities meet the appropriate standards.

Finally, your strong communication skills will see you nurturing relationships with a range of stakeholders as you confidently navigate different challenges, capturing learnings and sharing best practice.

What we need from you

We’re keen to hear from men and women with a bachelor’s degree, or Middle education level along with proven experience within maintenance and coating Fabric management. Beyond being able to speak Dutch and English, you’ll ideally have experience in the following:

  • In the possession of NACE 1 or 2

  • Knowledge of industrial coating applications.

  • Experience of insulation and fireproofing inspection.

  • Experience going offshore, onsite.

  • Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
