TheRN Clinical Nurse Lead Intensive Care Unit – CNL ICU –will be responsible for the coordination of care for the geriatric trauma population. Additionally, the CNL will be responsible for staff development functions related to the provision of care to this population, including research and implementation of approved evidence based practices while maintaining accountability to quality and patient safety outcomes. The CNL will institute multidisciplinary rounds and maintain oversight of process improvement with the ICU populations. The CNL will promote, advocate, and support the nursing staff’s primary commitment to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family or community and support management in retention efforts as well as professional development.

Licensed RN by the State of Texas

Masters Degree required

5 years of Clinical experience required, 2 years management experience preferred
