Core Business Operations Defect Manager

Deloitte is a key partner with the 2nd largest cable company in the US and is actively expanding its presence in the Technology Services division. As part of this expansion we are seeking to hire a test engineer.

Work you ll do/Responsibilities

Experience in working with Web Portals not industry specific

Ability to comprehend customer feedback, re-create and determine defects is critical

Knowing billing features, account overview features within portals definitely a plus

Keen attention to detail

Ability to work with excel and PPT

Prior experience in documenting and tracking data

Knowledge of defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM etc.,

Hands on tester experience is a plus

Qualifications

Required

Required Qualifications (minimum of 3 essential requirements)

Experience in Test Management tools like ALM, JIRA

Expertise in defect management

Expertise in web portals

Preferred Requirements

Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams

Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

Ability to understand impact of new requests or projects to current application interoperability and communicate impact to internal and external teams

Effective Communication and Presentation skills

Experience or has good understanding of Cable and Telco domain
