Design, deploy and manage security technology in order to control risk to Aetna internal resources in accordance with established corporate security policy. Understand industry threats and the methods to apply appropriate controls. Provide rapid response requests for security assistance.
Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:
Reviews and provides guidance to the security of application implementation and upgrades for compliance to corporate policy. Researches and defines security infrastructure strategy/architecture for all enterprise systems.Provides security consultation for all new IT projects to ensure policy and architecture compliance.Designs and supports security model and administrative tools. Documents and enforces security standards of Directory Services. Designs, monitors and maintains the security monitoring infrastructure. Defines and enforces the security standard and configuration specifications.Provides industry trending analysis and knowledge of upcoming security trends/threats.Provides regulatory support for the Legal/Privacy office through interpretation of regulations and recommendations. Provides support for internal and external audits, third party reviews of Aetna and RFP responses in support of Aetna Sales and Marketing efforts.
