  • The Role*

The Enterprise Compromised Data (ECD) team is responsible for leading the assessment, investigation, and mitigation of compromised data incidents across the Wells Fargo enterprise, including ensuring data breach notifications to government regulators and individuals are handled appropriately.

As a leader within the Enterprise Compromised Data team;

You will be responsible for leading a team of incident responders responsible for managing low, medium and high severity incidents needed for covering the MT/PT time zones for 24/7/365 coverage. This includes managing and supporting an after-hours on call rotation during the week and weekend.

This role will be involved in the day-to-day management of incidents, leading and directing response teams, coaching and supporting incident responders by ensuring they are meeting required timelines and accurately and thoroughly investigating the incidents and following through to resolution.

This position will work with leaders and team members at all levels and across functional lines, often in complex and challenging situations requiring a rapid response.

This role will be required to support / work standard working hours Monday – Friday PST or MST no matter location that you live..

The successful candidate must be a motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage a rapidly changing environment. The ideal candidate will be a risk-focused leader who enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment when responding to incidents domestically and internationally, across all time zones. In addition the candidate should have experience leading or participating in an incident response team

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of management experience, or 3+ years of leadership experience

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
