POSITION SUMMARY

Sales Support Consultant will perform various duties within the sales process. This will include RFP processing, new sales installation, correspondence with Underwriting and external Brokers and additional support for sales and account management staff.

Fundamental Components:

Support the Sales teams with daily functions including: preparing and submitting complete Request for Proposals, coordinating activities that support the New Sales process, communicating with both internal and external customers (i.e. Brokers, Underwriting, Implementation Team) and utilizing various systems which support job functions. This role will also be primary contact for implementations for new small group, self funded business.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

The right candidate for this position will demonstrate great interpersonal and written communication skills. She/he will be able to assimilate information and draw reasonable conclusions. The right person must be able to learn quickly and apply skills learned across different and varied situations. Being able to remain poised under pressure will be very important. The right candidate would also be described as well organized, thoughtful, confident and well spoken.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
