The ideal

candidate is highly technical, motivated, passionate, and detailed

oriented and will rise to the opportunity to work with a top-notch

engineering team, sales, marketing, and product management groups to

further the OCI Object Storage service and products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Solution creation and certification

  • Troubleshooting complex customer problems and creating reference architectures

  • Competitive analysis

  • Creating sales enablement collaterals such as Q&A, white papers, and presentations

  • Participating in the product development process to provide use cases,

deployment scenarios, and technical documentation of new product


  • Ensuring necessary content, training programs, and

design implementations are available to the sales and partner technical


  • Being the technical consultant for internal sales teams

  • Working very closely with engineering team in a dynamic and Agile environment

Who you are:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field

  • Very strong technical background

  • Strong and proven project management skills

  • Highly experienced in Cloud technologies, existing players and solutions

  • Hands-on Linux/UNIX and systems administration skills

  • Programming experience with Python and/or Go is a strong plus

  • Experience in Storage technologies is a plus but is not required

  • Experience with Big Data workloads is a plus

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
