Wells Fargo Analytic Consultant 3 - Remediation Quality Control - C2C in Des Moines, Iowa

The Commitment to Customer (C2C) Center of Excellence is an enterprise function within Wells Fargo’s Chief Administrative Office (CAO). This organization develops and implements consistent enterprise standards for remediating commitment-to-customer issues across our consumer lines of business. The organization enables more effective and coordinated monitoring, reporting and stakeholder communications. Enhancing our practices and outcomes for customers is a critical part of building a better Wells Fargo.

With the centralization of Commitment to Customer ("C2C") Remediation functions into the Center of Excellence ("COE"), we have a need for a highly skilled Analytic Consultant 3 – Remediation Population QC. This Analytic Consultant will play the critical role of leveraging deep business systems and database knowledge to perform advanced data validation of commitment to customer remediation populations of customers who were harmed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze C2C issues to understand and identify customers who are harmed

  • Critically review remediation analytic approaches to ensure accurate data populations

  • Research line of business data sources and provide remediation data access assistance

  • Analyze complex SQL code to validate populations of harmed customer

  • Profile data and perform quality checks to identify data outliers, issues, and inaccuracies

  • Partner with remediation and external data validation teams to ensure data accuracy

  • Develop in-depth Auto Loans and Education Financial Services data knowledge

  • Create and maintain an inventory of data sources, fields, extracts, and processes

  • Create business intelligence reports using SSRS or Tableau as needed

  • Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies

DIVISIONAL INFORMATION

The Chief Administrative Office enables strong business performance and company operations by leading across a number of enterprise imperatives: culture, brand, and reputation.

Positions may be able to sit within other Wells Fargo Footprint locations. This is not a remote or telecommute role.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of Shaw, ACAPS, FDR, ECaR, and/or other Consumer Lending applications

  • Exposure to Wells Fargo HELMS application

  • 1+ year of data warehouse experience

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
