Sponsorship Manager


We re looking for an experienced, innovative and resourceful leader to join our Marketing and Communications team to help us drive success in Deloitte s Sponsorship Center of Excellence. As part of US Brand, the Sponsorship COE oversees a portfolio of firm-approved national sponsorship relationships, building programs to promote Deloitte across properties, building our brand with external and internal audiences. In this role, this individual will oversee sponsorship outreach, engagement and broader communications / positioning strategy related to the day-to-day activation of select properties, as well as the overall portfolio. This individual will be responsible for driving engagement among top account teams and clients for marquee sponsorships. Finally, he or she also will work with internal and external agencies to help activate / create unique opportunities to amplify and promote each property across a variety of marketing and social channels. Qualified applicants will have at least 6-8 years of experience, including previous team leadership and background in leveraging Marketing and Communications assets.

Work you ll do

  • Develop overarching sponsorships communications strategy and oversee execution, including key messaging, content, vehicles and cadence to build awareness and engage employees and Partners/ Principals/ Directors (PPMDs), through paid, earned, and owned channels

  • Drive invitation & outreach for marquee events, including working with internal marketing / events teams to design digital presence and create collateral

  • Execute ongoing socialization of sponsorships to drive interactions with PPMDs, account teams and firm leadership

  • Work closely with related teams (i.e., Office of the CEO) to ensure connection to major firm visibility opportunities and alignment with key firm strategies

  • Work with junior resource to strategize creative ways to drive practitioner engagement in coordination with internal groups such as Corporate Citizenship, Talent, Green Dot Golf/ Tennis Clubs

  • Ensure clear, consistent representation of sponsorship themes and brand design in physical and digital collateral

  • Manage junior resource to develop and deliver insightful analysis around event and overall sponsorship performance

  • Own executive reporting related to communications, registration and practitioner engagement metrics, working in coordination with digital & social team to create integrated reporting and recommendations

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deloitte professional with deep understanding of the business, its strategies, and the organizational structure

  • Deep experience with creating, executing, measuring and refining activation campaigns for internal and external audiences across all Marketing and Communication channels

  • High level of comfort with ambiguity and fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex threads of work

  • Ability to make connections in highly matrixed environment, with eye on integration, both inside and outside the Deloitte organization

  • Strong persuasive communication skills; able to gain consensus through influence and pivot when warranted, especially with PPMD and property leadership audiences

  • Ability to work in a virtual environment
