Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients.

The Test Automation Manager, with a future-focused mindset, provide technical leadership and strategic direction. They transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity . They evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Job Description

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.

Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.

Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

While driving quality in our solutions they provide deep expertise in planning, constructing and executing test scripts. They demonstrate the ability to cope with growing complexity and creativity in design by thinking outside the box to determine the best way a test can be performed. Applying both business and functional knowledge, they develop end-to-end testing strategies a through the use of quality processes and methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading medium to large scale on/near/off shore Quality Engineering projects (e.g. 30-100 FTE) (*Quality Engineering is defined as Automation, Performance Test, Security Test)

  • Minimum 2 years experience in working with Director or above client personnel in executive level oral and written communication

  • Minimum 2 years experienced in practicing Agile Testing in a distributed model (on/off shore)

  • Minimum 5 years experience in leading one of the followings: SAP Test Automation using commercial /Open source tools like Selenium, UFT, Worksoft , Tosca OR Oracle Test Automation using commercial / open source tools OR Lead testing (Manual and Automation) in Journey to Cloud implementation OR Salesforce implementation OR Workday implementation

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Excellent leadership and management skills

  • Ability to travel 100% (Monday through Thursday)
