Job Description:

Purpose and Accountabilities

  • Hunt and develop new direct and indirect accounts

  • Maintain and grow existing customers active in the global shipping industry in UAE and GULF area

  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance (Volume, Margin and Credit) through new business, cross-selling, up-selling and pro-active price management

  • Manage a portfolio of International Lubricants customers

  • Work with Technical and Marketing to successfully execute sector and Key account plan

  • Actively prospect for new business

  • Apply Sales 1st discipline in term of Call Planning, Call Reporting, Account Planning, Pipeline Management, CRM use and input to the product/volume forecast process Process

  • Apply Challenger selling skills

  • Understand and achieve the Sales Expectation and behavioural standards

Requirements:

Skills & Requirements

  • Sales experience & proven success winning profitable business in business-to-business space

  • Technical background is advantageous

  • Marine industry knowledge is preferred

  • Demonstrated negotiation, influencing and challenger skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skill in English (Arabic preferred)

  • Direct and indirect with proved track record of developing profitable business

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build constructive relationship with customer and distributors
