We are searching for a Transporter full-time, no weekends. The Transporter is trained in the transfer and transportation of patients to and from different departments of the hospital. The goal of the transporter is to provide safe, courteous and prompt service to our patients.
Essential Core Functions:
Transcribe & maintain the medical record by managing orders and chart order appropriately.
Ability to transfer patients to and from bed to wheelchairs or stretchers. Ability to identify correct patient with information
Meet the personal & practical needs of patients & families as described in "Patients First Service"
Accepts accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrates reliability & dependability and utilizes time and material cost-effectively
Continue self-development by seeking out educational opportunities such as in-services, Healthstream, etc.
Reflects HCA values and its ethical and compliance principles in his/her daily activities (Code of Conduct).

You should have:
Current BLS certification
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Health Occupation courses and medical terminology preferred
Previous hospital/physician office experience preferred
