The Demand Generation Programs Office is looking for Creative Program Developers to join our team. Sitting within the wider Sales Programs organisation, the Programs Office create demand generation programs based on compelling stories that capture our customer’s interest and provide a simple path to show our customers how Oracle's industry-leading technology can help to transform their business.

What will you do as a Creative Program Developer?

  • You are creative! You must be able to translate complex concepts into compelling stories

  • You are decisive! You will work with regional sales teams, and Program Idea Curators to select and prioritise the best stories develop into full programs

  • You are a team player! You will work with a team of people from different backgrounds to develop the story into a complete demand generation program ( from target customer to revenue )

  • You understand sales! You will work with sales teams to identify the best content/assets to help them deliver the stories to their customers

  • You are influential! You have the power and confidence to influence corporate team such as Product Marketing & Product Strategy to develop the content needed to support the programs

  • You are good communicator! You will work with internal communication specialists to ensure all programs are supported by impactful communications to regional sales teams

In summary, you will develop campaigns based on customer centric stories that clearly demonstrate the difference Oracle technology will make to our customer business, as opposed to focusing on product feature & benefits.

Required skills and experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing or creative marketing agency

  • Experience in creative writing, script writing and storytelling

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into compelling stories

  • Proven ability to manage virtual teams of multiple disciplines throughout project delivery / program creation process

  • Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels in the organization and work across multiple lines of business and countries

  • Proven experience in driving innovative approaches within sales, marketing or agency organizations, delivering significant pipeline and revenue results

  • Fluency in English essential; knowledge of additional European languages an advantage

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.

A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product

  • s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 - 7 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management preferred. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Demonstrated aptitude for solving business problems using technology and applications. Ability to work with and communicate effectively with multiple colleagues in a team selling environment. Business and account planning implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Strong executive selling skills as well as a demonstrated success in establishing and developing client relationships. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
