SCM Director, Finance
As a key member of the SCM leadership team, this role advises and makes recommendations to the EVP-SCM on financial implications to the enterprise supply chain strategy and key initiatives globally. In addition, this role will manage and continuously improve supply chain performance and financial policies and processes and coordinate supply chain profit planning activities across the global enterprise.
Coordinate supply chain profit planning, monthly forecasts, White Book and goal alignment processes across the global enterprise.
Consolidate worldwide supply chain financial information for review with supply chain and finance leadership and sector and divisional management to align on financial and non-financial performance reports in relation to the P&L and future forecasting.
Consult with supply chain leadership on funding and risk mitigation for key projects and initiatives.
Manage teams to drive the development of new supply chain financial reporting and analytical tools and systems including material cost reporting, price change, commodity economics, supplier payment terms and leased assets.
Partner with Corporate Accounting and Control to ensure that all Eaton accounting policies, procedures, and schedules are adhered to for the supply chain function.
Maintain supply chain governance documents, policies relevant to supply chain financials and reporting
minimum BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance, working closely with Operations
Experience with horizontal finance at international / global level preferably in Supply Chain or other corporate functions
Must be knowledgeable in the areas of generally accepted accounting principles .
Must have a basic understanding of how supply chain works and basic administrative processes.
Must be able to work with all levels within the organization and across functional boundaries.
Must be a proven change agent, with strong influential skills.
Must have demonstrated collaboration skills and the ability to build, develop, and maintain the organization.
Ability to drive continuous improvement is preferred
