P osition S u m ma r y

The Senior Associate Market Development Specialist for BioProduction will be responsible for executing global marketing tactics for BioProduction business through both offline and online marketing channels. This candidate will help promote the team’s focus of enhancing the customer experience in all aspects of the position’s responsibilities. He/She will coordinate and liaison with both external and internal cross-functional teams to facilitate the conversion of marketing ideas and messages into effective programs/campaigns leading to revenue, improved customer intimacy, and growth in a dynamic environment.

He/She will coordinate and liaison with both external and internal cross-functional teams to facilitate the conversion of marketing ideas and messages into effective programs/campaigns leading to revenue, improved customer intimacy, and growth in a dynamic environment.

K e y Obj e cti v es of the r o le :

  • ExecutesBioProductionmarketingprogramstocreatebrandawareness,generateleads,andnurtureleads.

  • Contributestothesuccessofgeneratingdemand,supportingtheglobalbrandanddeterminingoptimalchannelutilization.

  • Deploysmarketingtacticsutilizingamultichannelapproachincludingprint,digital,socialandsaleschannels.

  • Executesandperformssubsequentanalysisofdatafrommarketingcampaigns,fromwhichthepreparationofreportsandrecommendationsforfutureventuresmightberequired

  • Manages daily marketing operational activities for the BioProduction division, including social media presence, maintaining a media calendar, managing an event list & tracking marketing spending.

  • Assist in completing various marketing projects by processing them through the internal marketing planning system.

  • Regularly adhere to strict deadlines while keeping all active projects well organized and optimized.

  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for work related activities

Minimum Qualifications (must have):

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Highly organized, independent contributor able to deliver on plans and deadlines

  • Exhibits good judgment, remains flexible, and is able to quickly respond positively to rapidly changing priorities and circumstances

  • Team player who is prepared to go the extra mile to accomplish critical objectives and therefore drive business and financial outcomes

  • Exceptional communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills necessary.

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel skills.

  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a Marketing or Marketing Communications role

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):

  • Experience in Bioprocessing/Bioproduction marketing and/or life science industry marketing

  • Experience in web and social media marketing a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce.com

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator
