Oracle Managed Cloud & SaaS Services is currently seeking Technical Manager to help support Oracle Cloud for Industry operations business.
ProvideHANDS ONtechnical leadership for the Application Engineering team
Coordinate between Operations Center, Support and other technical teams in planning change, resolving incidents or customer escalations and drive them to completion
Work with the global Ops team documenting processes and standard operating procedures
Transition and align Hospitality best practices to Oracle Cloud processes & guidelines
Serve as the point of contact for escalations
Analyze inflow of work and generate KPI reports and guidelines for process improvements
Generate weekly reports of system outages with corrective action and RCA
Collaboratively own problem management ensuring quick resolution of high priority issues
10 years related experience of a best-in-class cloud or hosting organization
5 years of experience being a Tech Lead and managing a team
3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers and Kubernetes administration
Have a broad, strong technical knowledge which encompasses Application operations including deployment, Release automation, Platform architecture, Database, Network, Load-balancing / Clustering and Security
Have detailed knowledge of applications built using Apache, WebLogic and Fusion Middleware or related technology
Possess proven track record of operational success in a high traffic environment
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience.

Excellent communication skills
