Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 5-ProdDev in Edison, New Jersey

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Product Manager Projects Analytics

We are looking for a Oracle Projects accounting expert with hands on knowledge in Project Billing, Project Costing, Project Management to help shape the pre-packaged Analytics offerings. As Product Manager, you will act as the glue between engineering, support and marketing to develop the product road map with inputs from key customers.

Oracle Project Financial Management Cloud (part of ERP Cloud) is the industry-leading offering in the cloud and includes capabilities for Project Cost Control, Billing & Contracts and Grants management. Oracle ERP Cloud comes embedded with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), which provides self-service reporting for LOB users. This role will drive the product roadmap and adoption of Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle Analytics for Fusion ERP (OAX).

Qualified candidate will be an expert in Project Financial business processes with hands-on ERP implementation experience. You should have a deep understanding of the various operational roles involved in Projects back-office functions. You should be able to articulate the business impact for new features in clear terms. You should have deep understanding of the business metrics that measures the efficiency & effectiveness of relevant business process.

Engage with Oracle ERP Cloud customers to understand their needs and expectations. Run customer focus groups.

Partner with other ERP Cloud and Analytics Product Managers to shape the product roadmap.

Work with the Analytics and ERP Cloud marketing teams to facilitate decisions around product launch, product positioning and gain insights on competitive landscape.

Participate in marketing events with responsibility for managing the agenda including customer demos, customer meetings and product management led sessions.

Provide detailed product requirements to provide guidance to Development teams for development of ERP Cloud Analytics capabilities.

Provide release documentation for any new features/functions released during the quarterly releases.

Skills and Experiences Required

Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Preferred Education background MBA or Chartered Accountant.

10 years experience in Oracle Project including Billing, Costing, Management.

8 years experience in business analysis and requirement assessment.

Travel required 25% of time including international travel.

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
