Short Description

The Sales and Operations Coordinator position is designed to develop the candidate’s knowledge of the equipment rental industry. In this entry level role, you will be able to answer product and service questions, process rental orders, and fulfill our customers’ needs with accuracy and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters who want to grow their career in Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls on the counter and deal with walk-in traffic

  • Resolve customer inquiries and deal with any issues or concerns

  • Provide customers with expert advice on the selection and operation of all the various types of tools and equipment

  • Generate additional sales revenue through superior customer service on all existing orders

  • Write up rental agreements

  • Source available equipment from other branches within the region

  • Schedule delivery and pick up of equipment

  • Support all team members

Requirements

  • Ability to work constructively under pressure

  • Available to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts

  • Flexibility: An ability to adjust to changes that occur in the workplace

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with superb analytical skills.

  • Initiative: Being action oriented and a self-starter

  • Passion for Customer Service and Stakeholder Success

  • Safety Awareness: Understands, follows, and motivates individuals to follow the safety rules and regulations

Professional Experience

1 to 2 years of previous inside or business-to-business customer service experience within the industrial, equipment rental or construction sectors, an asset

Educational Background

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.

Conditions of Employment

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Be able to regularly lift 50lbs or more
