Herc Rentals is looking for a hard-working, reliable and punctual warehouse worker to come join our team. The successful candidate will have to be able to manage incoming and outgoing orders, stock and pick equipment with speed and accuracy, while maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
This position includes long stretches out of town, driving across Western Canada to work on an on-site Tool Crib.
Clean, maintain and organize heavy equipment, construction equipment, tools, and various pieces of machinery
Review special orders from management
Read invoices and shipping statements, and file them properly
Deliver/pick-up of parts and equipment from various locations.
Assist in the loading/unloading of rental equipment
Maintain work area and yard area in an organized manner
Assist with service and maintenance record keeping
Perform other duties, as assigned
Ability to travel when called upon
Able to participate in on-site toolcribs
Good customer service skills
Maintenance abilities ideal, but not required
Must be a Team Player
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs

Flexibility: An ability to adjust to changes that occur in the workplace
Ability to handle assorted tools properly and safely
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
High School diploma with experience in the heavy equipment industry
Conditions of Employment
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to travel (50%)
